Rapidly establishing himself as a songwriter with a great sense of music and lyrics honest and sincere, Nicholas is currently touring the southeast promoting the new album. Both the album and the performances are uplifting and comforting, with songs that tell of love, loss, desire, and the need to be true to yourself by going after what you want. Nicholas is a native of Hollywood, Florida, though raised in Marietta, Georgia. The son of an Atlanta jazz musician, Nicholas grew up listening to experienced musicians at the top of their game playing a wide variety of pop, jazz, and rock. A World Like Ours, released in May of 2005, is a great feeling blend of jazz chord pop and Beach Boy style harmonies. Currently Nicholas is 24 years old and living in Atlanta, Georgia.
"In Summer of 2004 I was at a point where I knew I needed an album, one way or another. I couldn't afford to record the entire album in a professional studio. So I went out and bought an eMac and an Mbox. Most tracks I recorded directly onto the Mac, but there were also times when I would record at other studios, then come back and import the files. My eMac was so easy to use it astonished me. I was also able to do all the graphic work on my Mac. Currently, with all I'm doing to promote the album, I'd be lost without it. Of course I could do it on a PC, but the Mac is so easy to use it feels like it's lending a hand. On top of that, it's the best looking thing in my room."
